Treatments are done no sooner than every 4-6 weeks in most cases. Tell your doctor what medications you are taking as well. Chemicals in the skin can also react to laser light, causing skin discoloration, acid burns or other unwanted side effects. Ask and follow your Doctor's advice.
Before your treatment, they may clean your skin, or have instructed you to use a topical anesthetic up to an hour and a half before your appointment.
